Today I took some time to work on the layout of this blog and I loved it. I first found a layout that I liked, the only think that I didn’t like about it was the header. So I made my own. This involved little work, but I did want to include picture that I had taken over time. So I started by getting the colour just right, then added some pictures the the right side. Meaning I had to go back in the old photo bin (aka my External Hard Drive… which I really should name, any ideas? Leave a comment). ANYWAY I went back in the old photo bin and found this one tucked away from the summer.
Beth and I had gone to the park in Halifax and went on a photo excursion. It was wonderful. I took lots of photos and she enjoyed modeling with her little (at that time VERY LITTLE) Piper. I lined myself up to take this shot and two people walked into it, but I think it added quite a bit to the photo. When I edited it I realize that I blurred them a little too much, but what can I do really? The only thing that would have made this shot better, I think, is if they were holding hands, but then again maybe they are two friends out for a stroll…
So I unveiled this new blog layout to the Facebook world a few moments ago, and realized that since it is a Wordpress layout there is no Follow button… meaning I somehow mess with the HTML to add one *which I dont want to do* or I go and find another layout. Sad day, but I am off to find the layout for me!
Let me know what you think of this new one… and name my External Hard Drive!
